It’s All Possible 7-Day Program

Community projects that embrace the full range of One Horizon's development initatives from feeding malnourished children, re-settlement and housing schemes, provision of fresh water, sanitation, education & hygiene and small business programs

This is an amazing itinerary that will have you part of 7 different projects each in a different location in and/or on the outskirts of Nairobi. You will visit a centre for abandoned children, a field kitchen for grandmothers, our project for retraining women in small businesses, a re-settlement project for families as well as in community school centre for impoverished children

Nairobi – Kawangware Self Help Group-Located in Kwangware in the suburbs of Nairobi. The crèche has 75 children drawn from the surrounding community who are severely impoverished

Ngong Hills – Living Positive Centre for Women and Children-The centres are located 40 kilometres from Nairobi. The centre is a small business retraining facility for women who are being skilled to support their families

Nairobi - Kibera School & Community Centre-Located in the poorest community in East Africa housing 1 million people – the school has 300 disadvantaged and abandoned children of primary and secondary school age and is beacon of hope

Kawangware Community Centre-The centre provides a refuge of safety and learning for children who would otherwise not receive an education

Kikuyu Field Kitchen for Grandmas-Kikuyu is situated on the outskirts of Nairobi and the field kitchen provides nourishment to grandmas who look after their grandchildren but who often go hungry themselves

Eastlands Rescue Centre for Abandoned Children-Located in Eastlands the centre rescues and rehabilitates abandoned and abused children from the streets of Nairobi

Tour of Nairobi-The tour incorporates a city tour of Nairobi and visits to the Elephant Orphanage as well as the Giraffe Centre. For lunch the group goes to historic Karen Blixen Tea Gardens before being returned to your hotel
